HSE Administrator

Summary

HSE Administrator responsible for all administrative duties related to ensuring safety standards on site. The position will start with the primary role and responsibility being administration, as the candidate develops, candidate will be responsible for more HSE related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HSE Manager with administrative functions such as creating and maintaining manual and electronic files, directing communications, preparing, and editing documents, maintaining agendas, scheduling meetings, etc.
  • Maintaining HSE documentations necessary for COR audits
  • Assisting in safety meetings and coordinating trainings when required with the office
  • Complete other office and field duties as required
  • Assisting with investigating incidents and corrective actions
  • Ensuring safety procedures and standards are being followed
  • Completing new hire orientations
  • Participating on educating staff to eliminate job hazards on site
  • Report any hazards/damages/incidents and complete the investigation report
  • Shadow HSE professional in the field to learn aspects of the profession
  • Perform other related duties and activities as required

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in administrative positions
  • HSE Administrator Designation, or working towards designation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

HSE Specialist

Primco Dene Group of Companies

Role Summary

The HSE Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the health, safety, and environmental programs within the Primco Dene Group of Companies, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations, as well as company policies.

This role involves proactive risk management and response planning to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and the minimization of environmental impact from operations.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant HSSE regulations.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes and advise on implementation strategies.

Safety Management

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain the company’s Emergency Response Plans.

Training and Development

  • Provide HSSE training and induction for all staff members.
  • Develop and deliver specialized training for emergency response and hazardous materials handling.
  • Promote and implement HSSE systems to ensure proactive management and continuous improvement in operational performance.
  • Formulate training and materials to create a safe environment for employees.
  • Identify, assess, and implement HSE programs, as well as new technology to improve operations and HSE performance.
  • Coordinate safety meetings.
  • Review and update policies, procedures, and work practices on an ongoing basis, and verify compliance with health and safety regulations.

Incident Response

  • Lead the response to any health, security, or environmental incidents.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and report on incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Liaise with WCB Coordinator

Environmental Management

  • Oversee waste management and pollution control initiatives.
  • Develop strategies for sustainable operation and reduced environmental footprint.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive records of HSSE-related activities and incidents.
  • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
  • Document, maintain, and communicate HSE policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support in the development, implementation and analysis of health and safety reporting systems.
  • Maintain and track company HSSE Statistics and performance.
  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of incident and injury statistics and supply information to relevant divisions.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CRSP, CSP, CIH).
  • Experience conducting Energy Safety Canada audits.
  • Minimum [3 to 5 years] of proven work experience.
  • Certified Transportation Safety Professional (CTSP) designation is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Alberta WCB claims managements systems and modified work programs.
  • Class 5 Driver’s License

Work Conditions

  • Willingness to respond to emergencies outside of standard working hours.
  • Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Must be willing to stay in camp and work 80% of the time with site visits.
  • Must be willing to relocate.
  • Starting wage negotiable.

Primco Commercial LP is seeking candidates Overnight Cashiers to join Petro Canada team in Cold Lake, Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Scan customer selections, ensure prices/quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, and provide helpful information to customers inquiries.
  • Welcoming customers, answering questions
  • Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronics. Balancing register and generating sales reports.
  • Following store procedures concerning Petro Points, coupons, gift cards, lottery, cigarettes & fuel (including Alberta Indian Tax Exemption)
  • Verify legal age when selling lottery tickets and tobacco products
  • Maintain workstation
