Commercial Projects Manager

Primco Commercial LP

Scope: Focused on service divisions (Jiffy Lube, Astec Safety, Cold Bonn), new developments (gas stations), and property management.

Position Summary

The Commercial Projects Manager drives operational excellence and growth for service-based businesses and oversees strategic projects such as new site development and property leasing. This role combines hands-on operational oversight with project management and vendor coordination.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership 
    • Provide oversight for Jiffy Lube’s (3 locations), Astec Safety, and Cold Bonn operations.
    • Ensure compliance with automotive service standards, safety regulations, and franchise guidelines.
  • Project Management 
    • Lead new initiatives such as gas station construction and commercial property leasing.
    • Coordinate renovations, expansions, and equipment upgrades.
  • Financial & Risk Management 
    • Monitor budgets and cost controls for service divisions and projects.
    • Ensure adherence to OH&S, environmental, and municipal regulations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination 
    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and franchise representatives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, HR, Marketing) on project planning.

 

Additional Responsibilities to Include:

  • Financial Acumen
    • Monitor and optimize daily, weekly, monthly, and annual budgets and inventory.
  • Corporate Interface
    • Maintain strong relationships with PD Corp and franchise partners (Astec, Jiffy Lube, Papa John’s, Wok Box, Petro Can).
  • Collaborative Leadership
    • Work closely with shared services teams (HR, Safety, Fleet, Finance, IT, Admin) and peer companies.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to Employment Standards, OH&S, CRA, and municipal licensing requirements.
  • Mentorship & Development
    • Mentor direct reports in time management, delegation, scheduling, and people management. Create and maintain training and compensation matrices for advancement.
  • Performance Planning
    • Set annual performance plans, hold monthly formal meetings, and share learnings to reduce repeat failures and develop best practices.
  • Market Expansion
    • Support growth into new markets and maintain existing business relationships.
  • Cash Handling & Safety Audits
    • Manage, audit, and attest cash-handling processes. Ensure compliance with corporate safety inspection and audit standards.
  • Advertising & Promotions
    • Develop and implement advertising and promotional programs.
  • Building Maintenance Oversight
    • Manage work orders for utilities, snow removal, painting, landscaping, janitorial, security, and proactive/preventative maintenance.
  • Indigenous Employment & Succession Planning
    • Promote Indigenous employment, development, and succession planning initiatives.

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience in service-industry operations and project management.

Position Summary

The Retail Multi-Location Manager oversees day-to-day operations across multiple retail and restaurant locations, ensuring consistent brand standards, exceptional customer experiences, and strong financial performance. This role emphasizes team leadership, operational efficiency, and strategic growth within the retail and food service divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development 
    • Lead and mentor store and restaurant managers.

  • Start date is immediate
  • Part time position with pay at $17.50 per hour
  • Hours of work are between 10am – 10pm

Job Summary:

The ideal candidates will have a passion for people and providing excellent customer service.

As a Bistro, you will be responsible for prepare Crispy Fried Chicken menu items, fresh baked goods & foods: subs, salads, fruit and vegetable cups, kitchen cleaning, inventory and records, all while providing superb food & customer service.

Duties:

  • Complete shift checklist
  • Prepare and cook the food as directed, including stocking the Fresh Market Cooler
  • Operate the cash register, including opening and closing the Bistro when required
  • Report to supervisor on all concerns of equipment and inventory
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, i.e., regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment deep fryers
  • Sanitization of common areas and touch surfaces
  • Complete any necessary training in a timely manner
  • Wear proper P.P.E – Uniform (chef jackets & pants) and name tag, nonslip shoes, hand protection and hair nets
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • First Aide with CPR and Advanced Food Safety an asset
  • Previous experience an asset, but training can be provided
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules (i.e., nights, weekends)
  • Willing to cross train in other positions

Jiffy Lube Cold Lake and Bonnyville are looking to hire Lube Technicians.

  • 90 days probation period, on-the-job training and support

 

Hours of work:

 

  • CL North: Weekdays 9am –5pm, Sat 9am –6pm & Sun 11am – 5pm
  • CL South: Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm
  • Bonnyville: Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 6pm

 

Job Summary

 

The ideal candidates will have a passion for automotive repair and providing excellent customer service.

As a Lube Technicians, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, fluid checks, and other basic maintenance services on vehicles.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles.
  • Check and top off fluid levels as needed.
  • Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively.

 

Qualifications

 

  • First Aide with CPR preferred
  • Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.Excellent customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with oil change procedures is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools.
