Responsibilities:

  • Carry out requests for recruitment by the assigned division manager
  • Ensure all requested positions are posted in a timely manner
  • Screen resumes to ensure candidates meet all requirements
  • Complete new hire package and onboarding process
  • Maintain employee personnel records according to policy and procedures
  • Coordinate benefits and pension plans with program administrator
  • Prepare and submit monthly HR Reports
  • Attend career fairs
  • Liaise with indigenous communities, tribal councils and employment agencies to promote employment opportunities.
  • Assist in with educating and enforcing staffing policies and procedures,
  • Participate in performance improvement plans and corrective actions
  • Liaise with other departments as required
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted Class 5 drivers license & current 3-year drivers abstract
  • Standard First Aid
  • Reliable transportation
  • Minimum certificate in human resources or related experience in recruitment and general HR practices
  • Strong ability using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and databases
  • Understanding of remote Camp Operations and field logistics

Hours of operation

Monday to Friday – 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Closed on lunch hours, statutory holidays and weekends.
